| Each spring my iris bed rewards me with glorious blossoms of peach, bronze, purples and lavendars that remind me of beautiful ball gowns. The delicate petals dance in the wind and light up in the sunlight like debutantes at a cotillion. That is what I wanted to capture in this piece with soft edges, fluid lines, and graceful poses. |
